Colleen Meyer is a life-long horsewoman and an incurable tack-aholic. Colleen, her husband Matt, and children Reed and Kathy (both riders) live at Beach House Farm in Marlborough, New Hampshire, a 44-acre saddle-fitting laboratory, with four equine lab rats who are competitive event horses in their down time.
Colleen was trained in saddle fitting by a British-certified master saddle fitter, and is pursuing her own certification as a Master Fitter with the Society of Master Saddlers in the United Kingdom. In her former career she was diplomat with the U.S. Department of State, and is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
Colleen has worked through saddle fit issues with many hundreds -- if not thousands -- of horses, and has custom-fit and flocked saddles for the full spectrum of horses and riders, from Olympic competitors to backyard ponies.
