Saddles Fitted by Advanced Saddle Fit

Advanced Saddle Fit offers an alternative to the typical American saddle-buying experience of trial and error, hit or miss. Our mission is to educate horsemen in the conceptual principles of correct saddle fit so that they can select appropriate saddles to meet their horses' needs as well as their own. What we do is informed by the belief that every horse is worthy of our gratitude for the richness they bring to our lives. The least we can do for them in return is ride in a saddle that fits!

Certification in the UK as a Qualified Saddle Fitter and membership in the United Kingdom's Society of Master Saddlers (SMS) signifies that we have attained the highest internationally-recognized professional certification in this field. Our standing as a member of the British Equestrian Trade Association is our customers' assurance that we adhere to BETA's rigorous standards of correct equestrian business practices.

We do not "rep" for a particular saddle manufacturer. We collaborate with a variety of individual British saddle makers, committing a number of weeks each year to working in the UK with our saddle makers at their factories, striving to refine every design detail that affects the saddle's fit and function. Fitting a vast array of horses in the field through out the year gives us an in-depth understanding of the fit considerations of every saddle we sell, nearly all of which are made to the particular specifications that we have found over time work best to meet particular fitting needs.

We learn something from every horse we work with (about 1,000 a year), and we use every opportunity available to us to educate riders about saddle fit, bridle fit, and the best technology available to meet various needs in various price ranges. Our clientele cover a broad spectrum, from pleasure riders buying a basic saddle for their first horse to members of the United States Equestrian Team, several other nations' equestrian teams, and many other dressage riders, eventers, fox-hunters, pony riders, and competitive trail riders.

We have experience finding solutions for both horses and riders with complex remedial requirements.

Our clientele include many long-distance customers, with whom we work as closely and systematically as possible. We try to ensure that when customers buy a saddle, bridle, or other equipment from us they are getting what they want and what their horses need.

We collaborate and share knowledge with other highly experienced fitters and saddle makers in the UK, North America, and Europe. We often seek technical advice on solving particular fitting problems from experts within the SMS.

Every product we offer has been personally tested by us and by professional-level riders who provide extensive feedback on performance and durability. We sell only saddles, bridles and accessories we are convinced from use are unsurpassed in design and quality.
