The Détente Argus, a long-time favorite of many, is the comfort food of saddles.  It is built on a tree that has been used for many saddles in England, for good reason. It is one of the most horse-friendly saddles we have come across, and is an excellent choice for horses with good bone and an average warmblood back: neither very broad and flat, nor high-withered and roofy. The seat is broad and non-restrictive, allowing the rider to align in a natural way without being closed in at the front or back.
