Saddle Return Policy
Saddles are not available to purchase through www.advancedsaddlefit.com. Rather, information about the saddles we offer is available. We encourage website visitors to contact Advanced Saddle Fit to discuss your saddle requirements and to schedule a long-distance or on-site fitting and saddle trial.
If you wish to purchase a saddle from our inventory, payment in full is required prior to delivery or shipping.
If you wish to order a saddle, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the selling price of the saddle is required before we place the order with our saddlemakers. We will process payment for the balance, plus shipping cost, when the saddle is shipped from the UK. Production & shipping time can take from 10-16 weeks. Please note: The deposit is non-refundable.
Whether sold during a farm visit (see below) or ordered from the manufacturer, the sale of a new saddle is final upon delivery. No return for credit or refund is available.
Depending on location, we make on-site farm visits for a saddle fitting with our Society of Master Saddlers (UK) Qualified Saddle Fitter. Farm visits allow you the opportunity to demo saddles that are appropriate for you and your horse and, should you wish to purchase the saddle, have the panels adjusted and balanced for the horse it is to be used on. As noted above, the purchase of a saddle during a farm visit is final, and no return for credit or refund is available.
A 5-day trial is available if the you would like additional time to demo a saddle. We require that you contact us no later than the end of the 5-day trial to advise us if you would like to purchase the saddle or return it to Advanced Saddle Fit. If you choose to purchase the saddle, we will process payment at that time. The saddle sale is final. No return for credit or refund is available.
If you decide to return the saddle, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. If you like, we can process a return shipping label.
If you do not contact Advanced Saddle Fit by the end of the 5-day trial, we will consider the saddle sold and process payment for the selling price of the saddle. The saddle sale is final, and no return for credit or refund is available.
Long-Distance Saddle Fitting/Saddle Trial
When a farm visit is not possible, Advanced Saddle Fit will work with customers by phone and e-mail to determine whether a particular saddle might be a good fit for horse and rider. Photographs, video, and discussions with the rider are critical in this process; back tracings are helpful if available. If you would like to demo a saddle, a 5-day trial is available.
The only cost for a saddle trial is for shipping.
If you choose to purchase the saddle, we require that you contact Advanced Saddle Fit before the end of the 5-day trial. We will then process payment for the saddle. The saddle sale is final. No return for credit or refund is available.
If you do not contact Advanced Saddle Fit by the end of the 5-day trial, we will consider the saddle sold and process payment for the selling price of the saddle. Again, the saddle sale is final, and no return for credit or refund is available.
Trial Saddle Return
If you choose not to purchase the trial saddle, please call 603-762-3570 or e-mail email@example.com, and then ship the saddle to Advanced Saddle Fit by the end of the 5-day trial. Ship the saddle to:
The saddle must be returned in the same condition in which in which it was received. If its condition has changed, we reserve the right to apply a minimum restocking fee of 40% of the purchase price of the saddle. If a saddle is lost, stolen, or damaged while on trial, we will process payment for the selling price of the saddle. You may then file a claim with your insurer.
Please use the UPS return label included with the trial saddle to ship the saddle back to Advanced Saddle Fit. If there is no return label, please contact us, and we will process a return label that will be e-mailed to you. We will process payment for the return shipping when we receive the saddle.
Alternatively, you may ship the saddle via UPS, USPS, or FedEx at your cost. We ask that you provide the tracking number upon shipment.
Do not use Styrofoam products. We will process payment of $25 if Styrofoam, starch, or similar "peanut-type" products are used.
New saddles are sold with the manufacturer's warranty.
Used saddles are sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied.
